Ugh, as usual, Ni dom is like the polar opposite of E8, please learn typology. Te =/= E8 Angry =/= E8 Strong =/= E8 Evil =/= E8 Now, I don't think Mewtwo is a 6 either. Fear is not a character motivation for him, not even counterphobic fear. Mewtwo is "the strongest Pokemon in the world." He has nothing to be afraid of and never shows fear even once. Now, what does drive Mewtwo? Mewtwo seeks purpose and identity. The questions "Where am I?", "Who am I?", "Why am I here?", and "Why was I born?" are questions that Mewtwo ponders for the entire duration of the film. Immediately, I am far more drawn towards E4 than anything else. Mewtwo actually has an inferiority complex regarding his nature as a clone. He spends the first few moments after waking up being told all about how he is a human creation and "nothing but Mew's shadow" as he himself puts it. The only thing that he is told separates him from Mew is the fact that he is stronger than Mew; the strongest Pokemon in the world, in fact. This is the unique trait that he clings to for the rest of the film. However, he is treated as nothing more than a science experiment, and so he feels lesser despite his powers. Mewtwo can't accept this as his identity, destroys the lab, and kills the scientists in a childish outburst, which is to be expected given that he is minutes old at the time. He's literally an incredibly smart child with access to nukes on command, pretty much. Giovanni shows up proposing that they become partners, and Mewtwo, being only moments old, naively accepts everything Giovanni tells him. He gives Mewtwo the goal of world domination, and Mewtwo also quickly gets the sense that he is different from other Pokemon, and these things stick with Mewtwo, but this isn't an answer to the questions that are most important to him. He starts questioning his purpose again, at which point Giovanni tells him he was "created by humans to obey humans." In other words, to be his slave. Once again, Mewtwo is treated as a lesser being, and he lashes out violently again. Whereas his interaction with Ai at the start of the film had answered his questions by telling him that whether he's a human or a Pokemon is irrelevant and that his life has meaning either way, his interactions with humans up to this point have led him to a much more sinister conclusion; that he is neither human nor Pokemon. He has grown to see himself as inferior to humans since he was created by them, and he sees himself as inferior to other Pokemon and envies them because he sees other trainers treating their Pokemon as friends, leading Mewtwo to view non-cloned Pokemon as privileged from his perspective. Mewtwo simply cannot rationalize this with his own life experiences, and so he has to tell himself that all other Pokemon are just slaves to humans like he was in order to stave off his inferiority complex. And so Mewtwo chooses to reject his creators that granted him his cursed existence and who never truly answered his questions. The film is called "Mewtwo Strikes Back" because he is striking back at humanity for the crime of giving birth to him while creating more Pokemon clones for himself to relate to and eventually grant the world to, a world without inequality. Now, if that's not an sx4 thing to do, I don't know what is. For the rest of the film, Mewtwo spends most of his time striking back at humanity by killing them with his storm, humiliating humanity's best trainers in battle, throwing people around with his psychic powers, and mind-controlling people in order to acquire knowledge that he himself doesn't have, justifying it all in his belief that humans would do exactly the same thing if they had powers like his. This is what resulted from the arrogance of Giovanni and the scientists. They created a being of untold power and spat on its innocence. Furthermore, when Mew shows up in the original Japanese version, Mew does nothing but reinforce the idea that the clones can never be like the originals and will always be copies, once again causing Mewtwo to lash out violently and try to kill Mew. This is why the battle between the clones and the originals is so heated. Ultimately, Mewtwo is stopped not because he is defeated in battle, something impossible because Mewtwo is basically an unstoppable force that tosses aside all attacks like they're nothing, but because the message that Ai was trying to tell him at the start of the film finally clicks in Mewtwo's mind. The circumstances of one's birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

ชีวประวัติ

Mewtwo was created after years of horrific gene splicing and DNA engineering experiments based on Mew. It is said to have the most savage heart among all Pokémon, lack compassion, and strike fear into its enemy with cold, glowing eyes. Because it was engineered to be the ultimate in battle, it can only think of defeating its foes. In the first movie, where it was shown to be capable of levitation, telepathy, and mind control, Mewtwo exemplified these vicious characteristics. However, it was later shown to be caring, protective, and even altruistic. Another Mewtwo in the anime shared its aversion to contact with others but was much less belligerent. Mewtwo conserves energy by remaining motionless in order to unleash its full power in battle. It is also capable of materializing psychic waves in the form of its signature move, Psystrike. Though rarely seen in the wild, it is said to be resting in a dark cave somewhere. #MagnificentBastard
