He uses fe - se - ti similarly in the way that Joe does, to scrutinise others but unlike Joe, runs on a collective social cause, or is fuelled by being seen as ‘good’ and ‘perfect’ by others. The unhealthy way he uses his functions is also what makes him seem narcissistic towards the end. You can see that the reasons that Joe and Rhys clash towards the end specifically is similar to the way that Love and Joe clashed, he begins to see himself, but with more so called impulse (se tertiary vs se inferior) traits, and the different rationale behind their actions (ti inferior va ti tertiary) start to disturb him, even if love and Rhys are able to accept his rationale to a degree, he can’t accept theirs as much. He’s the classic charismatic and people friendly person. This guy uses fe very naturally, as if it’s something he doesn’t even have to try hard or think about it too much. He’s the ‘perfect’ social climber because of this. Going from poverty upwards, making friends, trying to be a role model for others while also then trying to fight for their cause. I understand that for instance, ni doms can also be charismatic in a socially driven way, but usually in reality, ni doms are often the kind of people to see those kind of displays as too fake or too ‘see through’, or would rather use a persona, on and off, like Joe does. They don’t display a face as consistently as others with e.g. fe dominant
