god, april has so many traits which i would usually find irritable, but for some reason, i adored her on the show. her strength and dedication to her goals just drew me in so much, i think she really made me rethink what it means to truly want something. yes, her ways of going about it were sometimes extreme, but you could tell how much she really did love jake, and i thought that was nothing less than inspirational. especially how she never did give up on him, and acknowleged wrongdoings. her insane amount of passion was so clearly obvious, and stood out so greatly amongst most of the other contestants. you could tell it was love. not just the desperation to be married, but real love for her partner. it's not every day you see someone so filled with drive to get what they want, while staying true to being positive and generally a really fun person to be around. i just hope she's happy now and that her new lover can handle her and care for her in all her aspects. (she is quite intense, but again, that's what makes her incredible.)
