i genuinely do not see how somebody can see martin as anything other than a 2w3 after season 5. mag 170 and 186 are both clear indicators of his 2w3. martin bases his value as a person in his ability to help those around him and be what they need of him. to avoid being hurt in this process, he isolates himself as a coping mechanism. can't be hurt by not being able to live up to others' expectations if you don't let anybody close to you, right? i honestly think the lonely associates pretty heavily with unhealthy 2s. not your typical unhealthy 2, but those like martin. when you lose your ability to help others, you begin to isolate yourself.
