I don’t know him as well.. But I’ve taken his interest for his lyrical authenticity. I have only known his song “Human”, yet I decided to explore a few other of his songs.. One thing I have noticed is how he inclined to the tense of “we”.. This doesn’t seem that Fi to me. I am thinking he can be an INFJ. And not just because his lyrics are “too deep” for a sensor, but he seems far more averted on unity. He also was in the past, a full-time carer for people with developmental disability (this also made me interested in him, given I am myself on the spectrum). He said it was “draining”, but fun. This to me, sort of appears as an Fe burn out. Fi is more tenacious and wouldn’t as much overwhelm. I also didn’t see any personal motivation, such as an autism diagnosis or diagnosed family member with a developmental condition of which we he’d choose this career (Fi motives).. Plus, this job was all matter of self-sacrificing his own discomfort for the sake of another. His song “Grace” not only themes unity, but talks of world falling piece by niece.. This seems Ni with Fe; averting on the entire world, rather than his own… And focusing one at a time on them. He appears too gentle to be an Se ego in Socionics. Se suggestive exemplifies with his seeking out tattoo and piercing; an Si ego in Socionics would find unsettling to their harmony. There is no reason to believe either, alpha value (no presentation of a happy, naive temperament). Ni/Se axis is self-evident; there’s no wallowing away in memory (MBTI Su), averting on his own body (MBTI and Socionics Si), and he is obese which can possibly epitomize devalued Si, as well as a lack of focus upon his own body (an intuitive is probably more likely to be overweight, as the result of not being in tune with body as food is eaten).. His albums theme innocence, a narrowed in gestalt (Ni) concerning as primary focus. He has a song called “Innocent Man”, “Human” also ties into theme in proving him without blame.. There is no chief focus only of himself, eliminating Fi as primary function… His even describing the job as “draining, but fun”.. Appears Si demon, with minimal detail and only the essence gotten to. This also supports IEI with evaluating a trend over years. Si predominant will indulge memory.. Spill endless detail, vivid with sensorial impression.. Then an Fi dom without Si (ISFP) would tell of what it means to them. How it made them feel. He does this none. I don’t really understand the ISFP vote. I feel as if people just slap it on him, because he looks like a tatted artist. I sort of understand the 9 vote, but he appears frustration to me. I would feel him as a 1 or 4 core. He can be a disintegrated 1 to 4, feeling victimized by the world, not wanting be blamed.. Or he can be a social 4.. But I feel that 1w9 is more likely. 9 is an attachment type (along with 3 and 6), characterized by its societal adaptation… I don’t see evidence of him adapting.. I see him being himself, to the point even others type him an Fi predominance. People have gross misconception of the enneagram at general.. But people over-identify with 4 when they self-type, then those who type in the enneagram dole out 6 and 9 all too often, with their myopic understanding of enneagram as an archetype. Overlooking defense and triad.. Where is he this conflict avoidant person in fear of his anger? He revels in shame.. Tries acquit of blame.. Appears frustrated with the world for its putting blame on others, not being able solve issue. So he justifies it as being “only human”. I feel as if they conflate the 9 wing with his core. With social dom especially being the vote— the most adaptive prone of any, it seems a discrepancy with my observation. Because I see someone who wants others to witness his self-view and reform world for better. This automatically has put him as a 1 or 4 core.. And there is no self-absorption or show of him feeling worthless. Instead, what shows is wanting others to not view him as an evil, immoral person (1). 1 may be slower to admit mistake, but not if 4 fixed and as well as disintegrated to berate the self as would 4. The only thing I would remotely say could justify 9, is how he took 4 years of a “draining job” and averted *positively* (as 9 is a positive type) upon it. But you have Fe auxiliary to justify this, and it could have been a personal obligation to avoid him feeling as if he failed (remember his song “Human”).. Then his failure to meet up to his moral and “flailing” could be 1 disintegrated 4. Whilst he doesn’t seem as angry, he has Fe auxiliary.. And very likely is a double withdrawn to make it more of a reservation to self. He tried “fix” people, but couldn’t. So he feels “guilty” for failing, incompetence.. He is looking to not be blamed for his failing. He has accepted he wasn’t “good” enough to resolve the issue, but still asks others to not view him as ill, bad, having let them down.. Fe 1 core.
