Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction to others. Someone being an asexual doesn't mean that they can't masturbate or be in a sexual relationship with someone. For example, some asexuals with a low libido may feel the need to release for dopamine and have some kind of non-specific or non-directed sexual desire towards others, and therefore they may still masturbate. Remember, such differences will vary from each individual. It may be considered a sexual orientation or the lack thereof. It may also be categorized more widely to include a broad spectrum of asexual sub-identities.
