I think a variety of players can be different types in the game, but Yu-Gi-Oh is primarily Te-based. The game requires great use of tactics and combos, organizing the most effective methods to ensure victory. Both Ni and Si alike, being introverted perceiving functions, can work here as NiTe and SiTe combos are great at planning. I can even imagine ISTPs being great at the game as well with how TiSeNi work off each other. It's a complex game and has evolved greatly since it's inception and requires a lot of studying and play-testing, the full scope of one's own research and capability; seems Type 5 nature to me.
