might elaborate more but this is just a small note to myself. i see E3 in the way he insults others esp in sacrifice. the whole hierarchical "wolves and jackals" thing too, constantly feeling the need to prove his own worth. Here’s the nonsensical unproofread yap I wrote on the plane running on 3 hrs of sleep. There is like no argument structure here I’m just describing what I see: This guy really confuses me because in the show he’s written really sp-blind, but in the Beforel Orel prequel, he seems like an archetypal sp6. I chose to kinda just integrate both of these by giving him an sp6 fix. To be fair there’s also good evidence for him having an sp/sx6 fix in the show but in the prequel he seems SO sp6 like even more sp6 than so3 which is what I type him as. You can choose to look at this guy from 2 angles basically. One angle is his vain attention seeking behavior, as a kid he was pampered by his mother and he’d basically goad her to compliment him and enable everything he does and get pissed off otherwise, he felt pride for fitting the image of a perfect golden special child in her head. As an adult he strives to cultivate an attractive, bustling Protestant father archetype and lashes out when people insult him. It’s fair on their part though because the facade is very obviously broken, Clay’s just coping at this point because he feels entitled to special treatment and attention. There’s another facet of his vain attention-driven angle. Instead of being strong, it’s very pathetic. Basically he seeks to be pampered and coddled in various situationships, he whines while the other person comforts and provides for him and makes him feel worth it. Bro also has an oedipus complex so that’s lowkey something Ok second angle. You can look at him from this cautious, defensive, territorial angle. The quintessential example is this massive rant he goes on about feeling attacked by societal expectations imposed on him for his job, about his wife cheating on him, about not being “good enough” compared to the “wolves and jackals” that ultimately the only true justice was to let those “dominant jackals feed on you…. Survive off you….” It’s also worth mentioning that whenever Clay does he feels long lasting guilt for, he goes about his guilty conscience by drinking his ass off and avoiding everyone who reminds him of his responsibility

Clayton Middleinitial Puppington is the main antagonist in the Adult Swim stop-motion show Moral Orel. He presents himself as an affable, well-spoken and charming Christian man, but it quickly becomes clear this is nothing but a charade he's struggling to keep up. A twisted childhood, miserable marriage and dependency on alcohol have left him as a self-destructive, hateful, callous, misogynistic, deeply depressed abuser who is completely incapable of realizing his own mistakes or facing the harsh realities of the world in a healthy, responsible way.
