My little fox boy who is textbook EIE. (Little rant because I really liked how clever he was and how he could socially maneuver people and I think it was a disgrace that he was offed offscreen in such a way too: I also think Holly Black put his character in trash for no reason, like nearly all the fey folk in the book became 3D characters and he is just like 1D fuckboy version of Joker in this book. I wish all the lore on him could be use like his mother being killed by one of his bestfriends’ brother and the prince. Same could be said for Taryn who even tho has a book in her pov is still the weak helpless betrayer girl because she is not as strong as Jude. It almost feels like we should see them as people who couldn’t be as good as main characters not as other people with their own motivations and own good sides. They could be such complex morally ambiguous characters/antagonists.)

Locke was a faerie. He was the son of Liriope and his unnamed father, half brother to Oak and former husband of Taryn Duarte. He was also a member of Cardan Greenbriar's inner circle of friends.
