Being completely honest, I don't understand at all how people could mistake Victor for an e8. The passion of the e8, being Lust, is expressed very abruptly and passionately. Eights strive to satisfy their desires in the present moment. This passion forms a fixation of vengeance, and although this fixation creates an ego that takes justice into their own, Eights think that the only way they can make their mark in the world is through being powerful. Furthermore, the sensory-motor disposition of the e8 makes this enneagram live in the here and now and reminds us that this ennea-type acts before judging. How does this fit Victor? Victor, who rationalizes everything, who examines every situation and considers every possibility that comes into his head before acting. I think he’s a e5, but I’m not really sure yet, so I won’t go further into details because what I would say might be wrong.
