Night Watch being considered as an intuitive is blasphemous. He's pretty much your textbook ESI SP4 who has been looking for revenge for his mother (Manjiro Sano, Eren Jaeger) and wants to carry her burden to elevate her pain. Ithaqua's motive of judgements of others and seeking vengeance based around his own persecutions fits ESI's nature. ESI sees the world through personal ethics and they're confident in their own judgements and constantly follow them. They're focused on personal relationships and value loyalty. That's seen in Night Watch's almost unwavering loyalty towards his mother. ESI's are scared of failing and going against their morals and it's seen as an ultimate insult towards them. Ithaqua is motivated by personal feeling of vengeance and revenge, found in other ESI SP4 characters like Aki Hayakawa and Xiao from Genshin Impact. Night Watch like every 4 is, is driven by sentiments and a desire for love, explained below. Now onto SP4. SP4 is the countertype of E4 and it's envy is very hidden. They're extremely hardworking and pain enduring, a signature trait found in many SP4s is shouldering the burden of others to prove that they're strong. But they're also described as someone who takes care of others because deep down they believe that no one will take care of them. So in this way to relieve their sorrows and frustrations, they become a character who is overly self sacrificing, wanting to endure for others, but deep down feeling like no one can save them. This is seen in Ithaqua's relationship with his mother. She was the one to "save" him, but then his brother came and ruined his found family, torturing his mother to the point of insanity. After he rescued his mother, he made a promise to her that he will carry her burden and seek revenge for her. Sound familiar? Well it should! It is the SP4s and ESI's motive of personal vendetta and wanting to shoulder the pain of a loved one, just to save them and endure the pain. We don't know much about him, but seeing how the loss of his mother affected him, he's extremely afraid of loss and would rather endure physical pain than go through emotional pain. He's fixated on revenge, like a 4 is, he wants revenge out of an unconditional familiar love for the woman who cared for him and loved him despite all his flaws. Ever since his birth he had the desire to be loved, and when the source of love disappeared, not even knowing who he was, he decided to seek revenge. He sucks up the pain, and dives head into danger and suffering while enduring for his mother. The only person he had ever loved.
