I actually think he's not xxTx type, but xxFx type... I'm not sure if it's exactly ISFP but let it be. The thing is, his will to protect and help Natsuki is caused not by logical conclusion that Natsuki really needs help, but his own fear for him and the exact will to protect him. It's like Natsuki got hurt in the past, so his inner part of self doesn't want the pain to happen again… And, guys actually also had to convince Satsuki that Nat-chan is able to manage the difficulties himself and isn't actually that weak. I mean, they had to kinda break his beliefs of Natsuki's weaknesses which is Satsuki's strong Fx function
