From what I’ve seen of Ravenna’s core traits, motivations and behaviours, sx4 > sx3. I understand the 3w4 votes, which could be reflecting her obsessive need to be ‘the fairest of them all’ and for eternal youth, but what of the reasons behind it? Embodying an idealised model of femininity and beauty might not be the foundation of her character. Nor is her pattern of acquiring power through seduction primarily a quest for success. Rather, Ravenna seems to be mainly sculpted from Envy and a violence that stems from previous lacking and pain, attributed to 1) the world which was cruel to her 2) men that victimised her. She craves the world’s suffering more than her own pleasure. In this sense, the thrones she toppled are more symbolic of revenge upon those who wronged her than achieving perfection. All that glitters is not gold. (*If I sound like a crazy person I apologise, I may be in love with her a little bit. 😔 Just a little bit I promise. Probably.)
