ชีวประวัติ
A Turkish sergeant (mechanic by trade) in the UN’s Turkish brigade during the Korean War. He discovers an orphaned, half-frozen little girl on the battlefield and, moved by compassion, rescues her, nicknaming her Ayla. He develops a deep paternal bond with her, struggles with the ethics of war, and desperately tries to reunite with Ayla even after being forced to return to Turkey and marry Nimet.
