Shay isn't 1w2 or 1 just because he "has morals" or "very righteous" bullshit that is stereotyped with 1. He has 1, true, but it's in his tritype. What you need to know is that Shay is a hardcore 4, who Integrates into 1. That's the whole point of the game, integrating, and developing tertiary and inferior functions.
