"Michael Corleone ประเภทบุคลิกภาพประเภทใด Michael Corleone เป็นประเภทบุคลิกภาพ INTJ ใน mbti, 5w6 - sp/so - 583 ใน Enneagram, RCOEI ใน Big 5, LSI ใน Socionics"

INTJ is a gimme but Michael Corleone is a hard case of 5 vs 8. 5 makes more sense to me. Enneagram is about motivations more than behaviors. What motivated Michael Corleone? Information and a scarcity mindset. Michael is a world-class withholder. He withholds affection from his wife and family. He withholds assistance to people in his crime family. He withholds information from everyone in an effort to gain more information. He meets with someone who just tried to kill him and pretends to know nothing so he can study his opponent just a little bit more. Show me an 8 who is going to do that. Michael’s plot arc is fairly simple: He hangs back, plots and schemes, learns and thinks, while the world crumbles around him, fights happen in his periphery, and he steps into the resulting power vacuum. Then he consolidates power by tying up loose ends, wash rinse repeat. He doesn’t gain power by being an assertive; he gains power by hanging back and accumulating intel while all the assertives bang their heads against each other, weakening themselves, and then profits from the wreckage, because he understands the situation well enough to know how to capitalize. And he hadn’t weakened himself by expending energy engaging in the strife. Then he cleans house to solidify his power. If a 5 INTJ is going to gain power that’s kind of what it’s going to look like. My read on why he wants to go legit is, maintaining an illegitimate business is too much trouble. It’s easier to stay quietly prosperous without all of the blood and criminality. He has Fredo whacked, not because Fredo is that much of a threat, but because Fredo invaded his privacy by potentially sharing secret information with the government. It’s that 5ish scarcity mindset on full blast. He wants to hide off the grid and hoard energy and information to plot his next move. Anything that’s taking too much of his energy gets discarded. In all, it’s a tough call (it is a fictional character after all), but Michael is too 5ish for even a 9 wing, an SP/SO subtype, and 5 second in the tritype to explain it. Michael’s an investigator who always thinks first and acts second, and there’s not enough of that 8ish “people and things are here for my use so I need the power to take what I want” to type him as an 8. His dad was like that, but he’s not. He begins acting more like an unhealthy 8 as he gains power, which is usually the argument people use to say he’s not a 5. Because “aren’t 5s supposed to integrate to 8”? The corruption of power as don is not a personality thing. It’s due to other factors. Give any type loads of power gained through betrayal and murder and they’ll descend. That Michael descends too doesn’t mean he’s failing to integrate to 8. 5 integrating to 8 is a 5 having the confidence to take on challenges in the world. And he is way too good at being a 5 for 5 to be his stress point. To anyone struggling to type him as INTJ: C’mon. He has POLR Fe all day long. But that’s not even the main point. People who are debating tertiaries vs inferiors need to just look at the guy and take note of what he spends most of his time on which is being observant, taking in information, NOT acting, not spending energy, and scheming. It’s almost like it’s obvious he is an Ni dominant! That plus the fact that no one would ever type him as a feeler leads us inexorably to the conclusion that he is the type that he obviously is, INTJ. 5 vs 8 confusion, I get, but if you don’t see INTJ watch until you do! To anyone saying 1: Omg no
