He seems like and INFJ to me. I feel like his Fe is more dominant than in ESTP. He lets her in and is overly cautious about her feelings and how he may creep her out. I'm an INFJ and on the first date with my wife INFP I kept giving her and out if she did not want to continue with the date. We started the date at my place watching a movie and I actually told her that I was okay with her bringing a friend or mace if it would make her feel more comfortable. She was very quiet so I wasn't sure if she wasn't digging me. I gave her the option of going out for dinner if she would like or just calling it a night. He was also using Ni when concurring that she did not want the tea because he made it in the other room so he waited for her to be there watching before he opened the wine.
