Hated Nero since childhood after they used to be friends. The hatred mostly comes from how Nero got more attention from the planets than most stars for having no abilities to grant wishes at all, if anything it's more of jealousy. This later turned into obsession about Nero. To describe their feelings about Nero it's more of a Hate/Love obsession, to where you hate someone so much you end up falling in love. Of course this was never resolved as Cyrus ended up wanting to kill Nero after getting rid of his cat at a young age out of jealousy and how Nero never paid any attention to them after getting the pet. It's normal in The Aether to not understand how death and mortal lives work as no one can really die except for getting heavy injuries and taking a nap to heal. So then, pets and mortal things are understood better than toys than you break and get a new one afterwards, Cyrus never understood why Nero was upset after it.
