Fi/Te is justice and morality, Fe/Ti is ethics. Huge difference. For example, harm reduction is NOT a tenet of justice, but definitely a tenet of ethics. Justice is not even concerned with the “greater good”. In fact, Fe/Ti ethics especially combined with Ni is often opposed to justice. I have taken a few classes on ethics. Justice, from a philosophical understanding, does not seek to improve anything. It seeks to settle Fi dissonance through Te. The sense of justice is a traditional, age-old principle that comes from people’s INNER moral framework, then executed and justified through shared group-thought—whether it be rationality (an eye for an eye, for example), law, finances, etc. But at its core, it is very primitive and crude in nature. That is precisely why it has been elevated to the authoritative/objective level. There is no greater abstract or meaningful “point” to justice, but it fulfills a lot of our inner urges and drives.
