Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay was an Indian writer in the Bengali language. His best known works are the autobiographical novel, Pather Panchali, Aparajito, Chander Pahar, and Aranyak. Many of his books have been translated in English and other languages like Pather Panchali: Song of the Road and Aranyak: Of the Forest.
