Huw Edwards (born 18th August 1961) is a Welsh journalist, presenter, and newsreader. As the BBC News lead presenter for major breaking news in the United Kingdom, Edwards presents BBC News at Ten, the corporation's flagship news broadcast. On 12 July 2023, he was identified by his wife as the BBC presenter being investigated for allegedly paying a 17 year old for sexually explicit photos. He is receiving hospital treatment for the effects on his mental health.
