Just realized that wwx never had a profile page for his novel self, although we've been basically using the donghua profile for his novel personality. I added this profile anyways, bc I want to put on this amazing fan fic picture lol I don't think I even need to analyze Ne, b/c he's a textbook Ne dom. He is metaphysically eclectic, extremely innovative and scatter-brained, always thinking outside of the box to look for a new alternative, easily excited by theoretical possibilities and potentials. He sweats over the small stuff and struggles with details and consistency, ignoring past impressions while sometimes being suddenly hit by them, which is typical of ENxP with inf Si. Although he has traces of Fi individuality in his psyche, his thought process is indicative of Ti/Fe axis, a universalist, logical, rationalistic mindset (Ti aux) with a warm, open, playful and accommodating outlook(Fe child). The way he attacks logical fallacies first instead of immorality also screams Ti over Fi. It's also obvious from the narrative that he tends to detach himself from his own personal sentiments, and doesn't really pay much attention to building an internal set of personal values; instead he acts in ways that he deems reasonable at the time to protect people he thinks are innocent. "The Fe/Ti axis seeks to understand the logical structure or form underlying the phenomena. This discernment includes sentiment-related phenomena, which it approaches in an analytical manner, just as it may pertain to more mechanical analysis, which the Fe/Ti types then often take care to present in an agreeable manner and with a human face." This describes his approach to society very well. wwx seeks to decipher the absurdity of mob mentality, and in the ending, he reached the conclusion that people as a collective are irrational whoever the targeted "villain" is, eventually managing to live with that realization. This Chinese cultural/historical concept of 任诞, which means being unbridled, free-spirited, individualistic, authentic, embracing absurdity and defying all rules and etiquette in the face of an oppressive/chaotic society(associated with 魏晋风度), applies to his core personality very well. The author also describes him as 至性, which means "authenticity in its purest form". His inner "spirit" or "soul" might be Fi-ish because of this, hence the ENFP confusion, but his psyche/mindset is still primarily Ti/Fe. Individualism and rebellion are not exclusive to Fi users, although Ti users might need a logical reason to disregard social norms, while Fi users are individualistic by default, having little concern for them in the first place.

Wei Ying (魏婴), courtesy name Wei Wuxian (魏无羡) is the founder of Demonic Cultivation and a former disciple of the Yunmeng Jiang Clan. Wei Wuxian possesses an energetic and mischievous personality, caring little for rules and decorum. As a result of his experiences as both a hero and a pariah to the cultivation world, Wei Wuxian sees nuance where many do not.
