The Outbursts of Everett True was a two panel spanner strip released from 1905-1927. The strip would follow an formula, in which someone would behave in an obnoxious manor (anything from being a little overly friendly with Evert to outright abusing an animal) before Everett gives them either a stern lecture, or slapstick violence (or both) often to the delight of onlookers.
