Invincible (2021–)

Invincible is an adult animated superhero series on Amazon Prime Video, based on the Image Comics comic by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. It follows teenager Mark Grayson as he develops superpowers under the guidance of his father, Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man—Earth’s most powerful hero—while uncovering Nolan’s sinister double life as a planetary conqueror. The show explores Mark’s struggle to balance heroism, relationships, and the shocking truths about his heritage. Featuring voice talent like Steven Yeun (Mark), Sandra Oh (Debbie Grayson), and J.K. Simmons (Nolan), the series is acclaimed for its intense action, emotional depth, and subversion of superhero tropes. As of February 2025, the third season is currently airing, following a split second season in 2023–2024 and a prequel special (Invincible: Atom Eve) in 2023.
