There's a whole episode about her being a people-pleaser (a bit of evidence of Fe dom.) Here are my ENFJ thoughts! [Minor spoilers for 2x01, 1x11, 1x15, 1x05, and 1x14] For Fe: In 2x01, she spends the entire episode changing things about herself/the BnB to please their very first guests. She almost fixates on it, changing anything the guests express distaste for despite her sensitivity to criticism and no matter how ridiculous their whims were. She's hurt by it, but only stops when Jay steps in and stands up for her. Another example of this sensitivity to what others think of her is 1x11 where she just wants her mom to be proud of her. Even if she's happy with the life she has, she just can't leave things alone until she gets that approval from her mom that she'd always been seeking. She also gives into so much of what the ghosts ask of her, to a very far extent. My favorite example of this is her willingness to make an absolute fool of herself by treating Thor's (and Alberta's) problems as if they were her own and telling them to a therapist (hilarious episode, btw) just to stop Thor's night terrors. She has boundaries, but also has trouble enforcing them. It's difficult for her to just move on instead of helping the ghosts out whenever they encounter a problem. For Ni: "Another facet of Ni as the first internally used function is that it makes FeNi’s very fluid-feeling inside—they have a sense that there might be “right” and “wrong” internally, but they are also able to easily look at opposing perspectives to understand how someone very different could think their own beliefs are right or wrong. They might get the sense that there are two simultaneous truths in this case—because something is true to them, while the opposite might be equally true to the other person." (https://www.typeinmind.com/feni) Sam often mediates disputes between the ghosts. She's the problem-solver, able to see both sides and keep a cool head. She also uses her Ni when sorting out disagreements with Jay, I think. FeNi: "They might not think about these things in a step-by step way (“In order to record an album, I must do x, y, and then z to accomplish this goal”). Rather, they want to explore different possibilities of where their goals and interests might lead them (“I want to record an album, and then I will play concerts in Shanghai!”)." (https://www.typeinmind.com/feni) This might explain some of her impulsivity, especially when first starting up the BnB. Ti blind: "FeNi’s might find themselves bombarded with a string of analytical thoughts during times of heightened stress or when tired. [...] Once the stress of the moment passes and an FeNi has had a good night’s sleep, they can often go back to a problem and solve it with a clearer mind." (https://www.typeinmind.com/feni) This sounds a lot like a "Sam Storm-off" as seen in 1x05 and 1x14. Both times, when she was stressed out (the gazebo burning down; the opening of the BnB/making the website) she spiraled about blindly leading Jay into opening the BnB and dragging him away from his friends and if it didn't work out, it would all be her fault. But once things calmed down, she was able to apologize and come back to the issue with a clear head. I can't speak on much else because I'd still like to hone my typology knowledge, but these are my two cents! I can totally see the arguments for NeFi, but I personally feel like she's just an Fe dom with some of those traits. Please always correct me as I'm still learning. Thank you!
