Scarecrow, real name Dr. Jonathan Crane, only ever identified as "Banker" is an individual who was present at the bike race participated in by Barbara Wilson. Coolio's cameo as Banker in Batman & Robin was included to set up the cancelled sequel, Batman Unchained. In that film, Banker would have been revealed to be Scarecrow. Joel Schumacher originally wanted to cast Nicolas Cage in the role and wanted Scarecrow to be darker, but Warner Bros. rejected Schumacher's ideas as they weren't willing to explore a darker tone for the Batman film series.
