Just binged the webtoon this weekend. Haven’t read the novel though, so I’ll get to that later. Ti is dom. 100% “You say Jaeui is hella lucky? Ok, let me shoot him and see.” This guy doesn’t give a shit about others opinions of him and his methods. Will not adapt to anyone, will not make concessions for anyone. Has his own kind of code, with no links to standard morality. There is no greater cause, if he does manipulate settings it’s mostly to satisfy his whims. An internal, introverted character. Very rarely takes any reckless risks although does declare himself a hedonist. He doesn’t enjoy the killing, winning, or fighting. It’s a tool to him. So SN is balanced. He’s resourceful, but he’s an agent, so… Not really much of an argument, but Ilay spends a lot of time physically cornering Taeui instead of mentally dissuading him. Lets his actions speak for him. Unhealthy inf Fe for sure, especially when you get his perspective. Doesn’t care about the appropriate setting for anything. Happy to shoot wherever and whenever (but that just might be bc he’s rich and has never had to mind it). He’s aware of the emotional sphere of others enough to crudely manipulate it as he likes. He’s terrible at analyzing his own emotions and he’s not honest with himself; Tay is the one that triggers him and gets him to verbalize them. Terrible, horrible at communicating. It took him a week to admit to himself he missed Tay and that his rage was actually the emptiness at being left alone. Other people are constantly making him work through them because they don’t understand his murderous actions, but he’s rampaging off inf Fe. Also, is forceful out of habit in the way he comes off to Tay, constantly threatening and intimidating him even though if you take a step back, it’s clear Ilay is confused and trying to say whatever until the words pinpoint his feelings. “I’m the one that needs to remember that you’re mine.” In Kyle’s office the same thing happens; he’s trying to verbalize what he thinks is rage but the words don’t fit; it’s actually anxiety and hurt at Tay despising him. When Tay is caught eavesdropping, Ilay realizes he didn’t mean it. Once I figured that out he became a pretty pathetic character haha He looks cold, but inside he’s like a toddler trying to figure how to negotiate for the first time because he can’t kill the problem (Tay). Threatening on the outside, and the inside is just going ???? the whole time (when it comes to Tay). And then, inevitably: “I’m stronger so I’ll just make him do what I want.” Pretty sure if he had tert Fe Ilay would have been much better at using other people, useful to him, to get to Tay. No such charm, no such connections. Ilay is completely disconnected. Also, let me know if i’m going at this wrong; i’m pretty new to typing people.
