Everyone's arguments focuses on the descriptions of Ti/Si/Se but what about the other functions present? This is simply an ISTJ it matches perfectly and sounds the exact same. Mbti ISTP have Fe in their inferior / suggestive slot. They are closely associated with LSI who also share this. They are ultimately described as socially conscious and have a desire to be part of a group. SLI are literally Fe Blind /Polr my gf is ISTJ and her mom is ISTP and I would type them SLI and LSI respectively too. Her mom is always on the go and working on several hands on projects within the comfort of her own space and is generally quite restless. My ISTJ gf however would much rather prefer working, doing, and being in a constant comfortable state, like she will only work while physically feeling comfy. This makes sense being a Si Base (She is very in tune with her body and temperature changes, sweat, texture etc it all bothers the hell out of her). In short its the difference of having a comfy space and being comfy. LSI with Ti Base would rather exist as a logical being and live in an aesthetic and welcoming space which encourages mental clarity and Ti focus (which secretly relies on their Fe). while SLI with Si Base would rather be comfy and exist in a logical (functional space) tailored to their comfort and stabilty (This eases their Ne Paranoia! So in case something goes wrong there is a fix) Her mom is aware of the social atmosphere and is even rebellious towards it (taking extra supplies from stores, taking pretty flowers from someone's garden etc). The ISTJ /SLI however is just downright oblivious to Fe. They don't consider or even notice it being done towards them. This is why their duals are IEE (Which is ENFP! Ne Base and Fe demonstrative). She doesn't directly observe facial expressions or aware of the emotions of others unless they are close to her. To me the difference between Fe Inferior and Fe Polr is clear. Being a Fe Demonstrative IEE I don't think I could handle Inferior Fe in the slightest so Fe Blind people are shockingly a breath of fresh air. They leave room for me to work on Fi, because they are just pure Fi! Also they can't stand obvious displays Fe since it irks them and makes them feel a bit broken. LSI love giving Ni Insight every now and then. SLI are doubtful and usually associate it with bad news / fear. SLI tag along with Ne Base users because they have it in their suggestive/ inferior slot so its valued and weak. LSI are literally Ne Blind they wouldn't care for Ne user jargon and will eventually become annoyed at all the jumps in topic. SLI easily follow these jumps and sometimes entertain it with their own Ne. SLI interact with the world with Te! They make quick fixes, likes problem solving and being useful. Si Base still being active they prefer simple and comfy activities to use Te on ( puzzles, planning, jewelry making, tending to plants and necessary chores that effect QoL). They are all about functionality and reusing resources LSI interact with Se. they like changing up their environment by adding or creating new things. They love crafting aesthetically pleasing living spaces thats welcoming to their favored social groups. they make REAL influences with their environment and are heavily motivated. Ive read the description of LSI Aux Se and it sounds just like Mbti SE so you guys have me confused. SLI being Fe Blind like I mentioned wouldn't consider how their place looks for guest instead opting for personal functionality (although aesthetics is still valued to some degree its not the overall goal and will most likely be tailored towards their Fi aka they aren't looking for the "WOW SO NEAT YOU MUST WORK HARD TO MAINTAIN THIS" Interaction an LSI is probably expecting (classic Se-Fe ) long rant but I get annoyed with how much confusion there is on this site with socionics. Even most ENFPs on this site are typed as EIE (ENFJs). I hate to burst any bubbles but I don't think Socionics and MBTI are that different. Cognitive functions are observable traits. a person who constantly jumps from idea to idea and as horrible awareness of themselves and surroundings heavily implies Ne Base and Si Inferior and these traits are present and correlate in both typology systems. What makes Ti - Fe, Se - Ni, and Te - Fi any different if they can all agree one cannot exist without the other. how does Se - Ni suddenly become Si - Ni?? or Se - Ne!?!? like How can an ENFP be a Fe Base user EIE when they are Ti Polr. You need Ti in order for Fe to properly be utilized in your core function. So I will never understand the " I'm Istp in Mbti but SLI in Socionics", Like so you just got over Ne Polr? or are you confusing Fe Polr too
