I'm in doubt if he's INTJ or INFJ, but he's definitely an Ni dom. I'll vote INTJ for now mainly because his rigidness to find the perfect son to contain the Radiance is more of a call for efficiency in them instead of a way to save his people and save his kind, which fits more Fe, but it isn't farfetched. But, why Self Preservation 1? He never tried to fix himself or make himself perfect, all he did was pick others and try to perfect them instead. Pure Vessel is a better example of a Self Preservation 1.
