Why SP7 (and any 7 tritype)contradicts high Se/Extroverted Sensing I'm going to talk about how E7 contradicts high Se in terms of sobriety, planning and idealism. Firstly, E7 lacks sobriety. Sobriety means being fully grounded in the present moment exactly as it occurs which is a close definition of Se. Secondly, E7 fixation is planning. E7 lives in fantasies and prefers imagining instead of action. E7 constantly does planning in their head to find a better, exciting thing to do in the future. This is highly Ne coded. A high Se user is the opposite. A high Se user is interested in concrete and tangible things. Therefore, they would not live in their fantasies. High Se users want to take action to accomplish their goals and desires. Thirdly, E7 trap is idealism. The E7 is concerned with manipulating the present so that the future will be fitting to their ideal. Se appreciates contemplating possibilities only if they feel like they stand to gain something from it, or it has a perceived potential impact on "the real world". Overall, all E7 subtypes head is full of ideas and is up in clouds, not just sx7. This is probably why a lot of E7 mystipe themselves as a SX7 since they are the one known as this. SP7 hedonistic behavior is also a way of distraction. They are just more likely to seek physical pleasure in life than the other subtypes, this doesn't mean sensory oriented
