>> SPOILERS << He's definitely a 6 core > 1 core, which is obvious BOTH in real and painted Renoir's. They both go to extreme lengths to protect their families, focusing on their security and survival. Painted Renoir against Painted Verso's destruction of the canvas, Real Renoir's against his families effective suicide amidst their grieving for Real Verso. He doesn't try protecting his family in both circumstances because of some greater moral ideal, but because he clings to those he holds dear and will do whatever it takes to protect them. INTJ > ISTJ also at least for Real Renoir (that's who this page is for, right?). I can see Painted Renoir as an ISTJ as he's purely enforcing pragmatic, objective fact (We're inconsequential mimics of the real Dessendre family, but I will do whatever it takes to ensure our survival as it's our reality). Compare that to Painted Verso, who's absolutely reeks of Ni - he seeks to destroy the canvas as he sees both it and his existence as utterly flawed and doomed to perpetuate a cycle of suffering for both the painted world and the real Dessendre family. Real Renoir though (I wish I had better labels lol) followed in his family's descent into fantasy to cope with Verso's death. He lost himself in the canvas, engrossed in his symbolism and creations as they were shared amongst the family, even when Real Verso were alive. It was the one way he could connect with them without facing the tragedy that'd befallen them, the consequences of the fire that ruined all but Clea. However, he obviously grew beyond the need for the canvas and realised he had to grieve healthily. The canvas is a blight for the family in their current state - he saw what it did to himself, and is terrified of what it will do to Aline and Alicia, who didn't have their lucky streak, an ascension from fantasy. He sees their fates as an inevitability - they will be consumed by the canvas. And thus he seeks a necessary evil - destroying the canvas, as it's the one way he can salvage their fate, even if it means destroying the one last link they had to Verso. He, like Verso, realises that the whole canvas world exists in vain. That so long as they're grieving and abuse the canvas as an unhealthy vice to remind them of a life they'd once cherished and thrived within, both his family and its inhabitants will be exposed to unprecedented suffering. So he seeks to sever the cause at its root. Obvious use of Ni-Te-Fi-Se, hell man even goes through a Se grip through his own shared reliance on the canvas initially. He's a concerned parent seeking to do whatever it takes to protect his family from a forsakened inevitability.
