When i first read A Witch's Life In Mongol i found it to be a way better and interestingly written equivalent series for Kusuriya No Hitorigoto because it succeeded everything Kusuriya failed at. What's interesting is that even the mc's types are very similar, Maomao is sp5 ILI while Fatima is sp6 EII but this is what makes Fatima much more interesting as a character trapped in political intrigue drama. Fatima has much more emotional layers to her character than Maomao while still successfully keeping her emotions in check and comes off very stoic and professional as a result, even though she tries real hard to do that. She is loyal to her loved ones and her purpose in life is to seek revenge for them in her own ways, using her knowledge + supporting it with her "friendly" demeanor; offering help, building connections individually with every person she meets as a way of protecting herself even if that person might be the enemy for another one she serves to. This is one of the best, most realistic usage of sp6's warmth combined with EII's Fi base and High logic + emotion in media, a character that's trapped in a real life-death situation and builds connections as a way to preserve herself and reach her goals. She is not friendly and warm naturally, in fact she only cares about her previous master but she MUST be friendly even to the point of portraying herself as oblivious and naive or else she'd die. It is a strategy to survive. Talking about how she builds individual connections with every ranked person as a way of preserving herself, it is also really well written how the only person she trusts and open up to is another Fi base that searches for a way to avenge for her loved ones, Toregene Khatun. It is quite realistic as Fi bases tend to be loyal people who lives in their own sphere and keep to themselves a lot. The only difference is that Toregene is a sp4 so she comes off as more reactive and emotional than Fatima since she keeps sending death stares lmao (but it's understandable given her high rank within the court. Fatima is simply a slave and all she has is her knowledge)
