perfectly ISTJ. he's obligated and loyal to his job, plus clearly efficient as he's a higher rank, however he's still connected to his fi and art and can't ignore them (not in a dominant-fi way, but in an inferior fi way). when szpilman played to him you could see he's moved by his music, however throughout his whole appearance in the movie he wouldn't talk about his personal feelings regarding szpilman, his music, anything - and deflect all sentimental talk: when he couldn't stop himself and gave szpilman his coat, who thanked him, said "i have a warmer one". he doesn't act like an innovative leader, but rather as an office worker, efficient behind the scenes.
