Kişilik

"Dr. Victor Frankenstein hangi kişilik türü? Dr. Victor Frankenstein, MBTI, 5w4 - sx/sp - 531 'de INTJ kişilik türüdür, RLUEI, RLUEI, büyük 5, ILI' dır."

Victor in the book might have been an INTP, but the 2025 movie version is an INTJ. He followed a singular vision throughout his entire life to the point of obsession, in pursuit of purpose and meaning, and felt a sense of void and emptiness when he'd achieved his end goal but lost purpose. His dominant and unhealthy Ni caused him to have path dependency, in which he thinks his life, upbringing and experiences all come together to form some sort of life mission or destiny he needs to fulfill, without being able to think otherwise. He is not enneagram 5 either (does not have issues with avarice), but enneagram 6 with the sexual instinct. SX6s, like other 6s, value support and recognition from authority, and are often anxious, insecure and afraid. However, unlike other 6s, SX6s are counterphobic meaning they cope by running away from fear and pretending to be strong. They want recognition from authority or people they look up to, but at the same time like to challenge the authority to prove that they are right or better. Victor wanted to prove that he and his creation were superior, because he had mixed feelings towards his father, the "authority". He was afraid of death, so he wanted to conquer death and make it controllable. And then he became afraid of life, so he wanted to conquer that too, by chasing after and trying to kill the creature. The creature is a mirror of himself, representing his inner demons, his fear. He pursues superiority and strength through the creature, but cannot stand the weakness he sees within it. He may seem like an SX5 in the way he indulges in his craft like a hermit, but the core type is about core fear, which usually ties back to the theme of a character-driven story. The story does not say that Victor likes to spend time alone because he's frugal about his energy, relationships and resources. For example, an e5 would be A LOT more uncomfortable when a patron offers unlimited funding for seemingly nothing in return, it would activate their fear of owing favors or being taken advantage of. Although Victor was at first hesitant, he quickly accepted the deal and never questioned the implications of said deal afterwards. That's because as an e6, simply recognizing his expertise and authority was a believable enough reason for the generous support. The story focuses on Victor's authority complex and unhealthy way of coping with phobia, which I think are his core fears that are central to his character and the patriarchal theme of the story.
