After hearing all the hype, it wasn't till now I decided to watch a couple of his videos. He is for sure annoying just as much as the Paul brothers but unlike them, I think he's extremely smart in his job and how he wants to come off to people. I never was a fan or followed him and just wanted to give an analysis on his personality based on what I've seen so a lot of it is just a hunch. He was able to manipulate his vlog buddies to do these dangerous actions by gaining "trust" from him to think these behaviors are okay for a good portion of his videos. Many factors can play into this such as bribing, favors, status, or that he gave them a platform. Not only that, but he built this unique sort of trust with his fanbase. He was more respected compared to the Paul brothers because he acts as "humble/relatable" as he doesn't flex as much as them, similar to Shane Dawson, and gives off the impression "he donates all the time so must be a good person", as seen with to Ellen Degeneres. They can be doing donations for looks but they could also do it to convince their inner conscience that it's okay for them to perform these selfish, morally-evil acts because they do so much good. As for the "his videos are extremely Se" argument, to me, he just knows what his audience wants extremely well and you can clearly see that he carefully plans them out. It is quick content that packs so much in one video there isn't one boring second. He also doesn't perform many of these sensory challenges on himself mainly just his friends perform them and he's the brains behind it. All of this seems to be done by the job of an xNTx in my opinion. For the comments talking about him opening up about his feelings on a podcast making him a Feeler. I haven't seen his podcast, but those with a Thinking leading function can talk about their emotions. His intentions could vary from "I want to share so I can help others that are going through what I went through" or "I see this as a trend and this can benefit my image for people feeling pity for me". Sure he performed a heavy expression of emotions, but regardless if his intentions were either of those it still doesn't determine if he is a Feeler for me that's more of just his morals. Actually watching the video and hearing how he handles emotions can give a better idea but in the end, we would never know his true intentions behind it. He could still be an unhealthy Feeler because he knows how to play with people's emotions (not all feelers having empathy or they can choose to ignore it) but the vibes I get is a Thinker because he would put his job, which is his "content", first as he always exclaims "it's content it's content" or something along those lines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ngGnlaaXAs&t=590s I wanted to share this video because she explains what I was mentioning in my second paragraph perfectly. I suggest watching the whole video but I will be focusing on the snake example shown in 4:16. Obviously, it supports my point of him being manipulative, but what's also interesting to note was how the professional was also under David's persuasion by not removing the snake. He probably thought "wow I'm going to be internet famous I better go along with what David says" risking him to possibly get fired if it were to be any other person put in that situation. I get major ENTx vibes and will vote for whoever's argument convinces me the most. I definitely think he's a disgusting human being but I just wanted to bring acknowledgment to the brains behind his persona that tricked millions of people. He's at the point where he's just so out of touch with society and he's under a Fe-Ti loop as he can't tell what's morally right and wrong because he's so used to everything going his way. I hope this whole situation will be handled properly.
