The ethical introvert (ESI) is a true stoic and a guardian of the moral foundations of society. Among representatives of this type there are many lawyers, doctors, investigators and teachers (ethics of relationships as the first function). ESI women stand out for their deep attachment to their family. Taking on heavy and labor-intensive burdens in the form of work, childcare, and household chores, ESIs do not complain about their lives but heroically face difficulties. In dedication, commitment, stability and reliability no other type can compare with ESI (volitional sensation as creative function). This type can be a doctor not only of the soul, but also of the body. The fight against evil is a distinctive feature of this type. One of the disadvantages of ESI is the excess of rationality present in this type. A certain degree of orthodoxy and maximalism negatively characterizes people of this type. Let us remember the numerous stories of ancient Greece: what should the main hero choose between love or duty? ESI chooses the latter. In this way the ESI often becomes hostage to his own loneliness with few friends, as potentially interesting people and relationships that do not correspond to the ESI's value system are quickly excluded from his field of vision. Representatives of this type are also at odds with intuition and are capable of taking initiative prematurely or inappropriately. This, in turn, can get them into trouble: “initiative is punishable”.
