i don’t understand the curly hate actually, this guy is heavily misunderstood. people say he never considered anya’s feelings, i’m pretty sure what he did was the most mature decision of all. his way of ‘comforting’ anya wasn’t the best, but i feel like he would’ve had a word about it with jimmy sooner or later, he knew it would cause a lot of conflicts while they were in the spaceship, and therefore he possibly decided to help anya out about it after they got out. of course jimmy too is his friend, but i really do not think curly is this morally corrupt. he loved everyone, wanted the best for everyone and appreciated his fellow crewmates, he did not want to disrupt the harmony so long they were in the ship. let’s also not forget how curly is a victim himself. jimmy forced him/sorta abused him to take the pills when he was clearly in immense pain, yet i’m aware he still couldn’t get himself to completely despise jimmy, i guess that’s the only problem with him — he loves too purely, leading to severe consequences. i can definitely tell the regret he felt when he saw anya committing in his own eyes, poor curly and anya :( my angels. i’m sure he definitely had thoughts like if only he had done something sooner and did not decide to wait.
