I had a hard time deciding on whether she was sx8 or sx4 but ultimately i think shes more sx4. First, i dont think she would be sp dom or so dom, as she clearly puts her close relationships (for example her brother) above all and its what is most important to her. I definitley cannot see her being an sp dom, if anything she seems sp blind to me as anytime her brother is missing she completely neglects her health and personal needs. Another example of this is when she jumps off a bridge into the river, risking a serious injury, but doing it without thinking about her health anyways. I see alot of people claiming that shes E3 or sp8 and she does show some of the traits but I don’t believe she’s either. Near the start of her appearance in the webtoon, she shows a lot of traits of an e3. She does place a lot of importance on her image and her fame when it comes to her channel. But with e3s, they tend to align their values and feelings to that of their idealized self image which would gain the admiration of others. I don’t see this in Han gyeoul. She remains pretty consistent in her values and her sense of self within the story. I get the sense that staying true to herself is important to her and it’s something that she’s not willing to waiver for when it comes to anyone, despite the kind facade she played on her channel. When she was cancelled and jumped off the bridge, you can see her true self come out and she flips everyone off and attempts to get them all to feel bad about how they’ve treated her, despite not intending to continue her channel. I could be reaching but I feel that this could be a last act to kind of get revenge in a way, due to underlying hatred for the people who had put her in that position. Sx4 is described as shameless, due to a feeling of being rejected by the world, and their inferiority gets replaced by aggression. I feel like this is a prime example of that. Not only this, but afterwards, she doesn’t seem to be too impacted by her public image being ruined. We’ve seen that she can be heavily impacted by things like her brother going missing, leading to her becoming extremely depressed, but she didn’t show any of these traits when losing her fame. For an E3, their image is their entire existence, it is extremely important to them as it’s their main motivation in life. For an E3s image to be completely ruined, they would more than likely be left in an extremely depressed state afterwards, unsure what to do with themselves. But for Han gyeoul, she just bounces right back up, even clearly unbothered after jumping into the river on her last live stream. For sp8, I can see the argument of power and strength being important to her, but I’m not sure as to why people are inclined to type her as an sp dom out of everything. Specifically sp8, their main goal is to be strong in order to be able to rely only on themselves, and be able to secure their needs on their own. This completely contradicts Han gyeoul as we can see she almost completely relies on her brother for everything and without him, she breaks down. She does seem to have a want for strength and intensity, but I think that this is just another example of her being an sx4, as she wants to assert her power onto others, not in fear of being weak or taken advantage of, but out of hatred. This now leads into my main argument, why Han gyeoul is an sx4. When she first appeared she was constantly going out of her way to make her brother beat people up for her. Her brother would do it for her, as he felt he deserved to give her everything after abandoning her when she was younger. I believe she almost got a sadistic joy out of making her brother do these things for her because she felt she was deprived of love or care from him in childhood, leading her to believe he owed her this, like she still has an underlying anger in which she needs him to prove that he can in-fact fulfill her needs. This is a key trait of sx4s as they feel that everyone owes them for robbing them of something in childhood. They feel an intense anger because of this and seek to have others pay for how they have treated them. (This also ties in with my previous argument about her trying to get others to feel bad about driving her to “suicide”. ) When viral hit threatened to expose her, she punched hobin and felt satisfaction from ruining their reputation. She saw them as a competitor, someone threatening to take away what she was deserved, what she had a right to, so in turn, she inflicted her anger, her hatred on them, believing they deserve to suffer for trying to rob her of what was owed to her. She believed others owed her love and attention, which ties into the same pattern when it came to her brother. She was robbed of it in childhood, resulting in hate and resentment, so in turn she believed she was owed love and attention through her channel, and anyone who threatens to take it away should be deprived of everything and suffer.
