Probably one of the worst types of relationships anyone can have, this is not love. The arguments for Open relationship don't make logical sense to me either. If someone wants this, I guess go for it...but make sure everyone in that relationship agrees on having it open (it's disgusting when someone even has the idea of opening a relationship, especially when their partner will be heartbroken by it). I don't like to be too opinionated (or even voice it), but this feels like short-term relationship you see in terrible romance fantasies, to have both loyalty from the engaged one and pleasure from different people. Find someone who can give you both (if sexual pleasure is that important for you), someone you really love and can imagine a long-term healthy relationship, not someone who will be a scapegoat for your safety so you can have fun with no consequences.
