Seems like an unhealthy ENTP to me. He uses his Ne/Fe to manipulate others. His Ne makes him want to break with the traditions and values set by his family (inferior Si) and explore life from other sides. His main problem was being unable to fully commit to anything. For him his time with Mikey was just a phase and nothing more and he just jumped from one idea to another taking advantage of the people around him on that way. In the end he chose the more comfortable option being tempted by his inferior Si to chose the safer path.
