Random fact but your average ESFJ is not a genuine 'empath' —in the literal sense. The science is out that they don't have enough 'MIRROR NEURONS' in their brain for it. They're basically as empathetic as your average ESTJ (not very). And with it, their care is usually not not that deep or it's straight up specifical/PR. This explains their proficiency for cruel and creating social outcasts.

A mirror neuron is a type of sensory-motor cell located in the brain that is activated when an individual performs an action or observes another individual performing the same action. Thus, the neurons “mirror” others’ actions. Such neurons have been directly observed in human and primate species, and in birds. Mirror neurons are believed to mediate the understanding of other animals’ behavior and are of interest in the study of certain social behaviors, such as empathy and imitation.
