I miss him a lot. watching Jeopardy nowadays is still always enjoyable, and I've especially enjoyed episodes where Ken hosts, but Alex simply had a fully unique, inimitable style of hosting and subtle strength of character and charisma that perfectly complemented the kind of show Jeopardy is. while he occasionally brought attention on himself with his intermittent snarkiness and humor, Alex knew that the focal point of Jeopardy was the players; it was their chance to demonstrate their intelligence and shine, and he allowed them to do so wonderfully

George Alexander Trebek (July 22, 1940 - November 8, 2020) was a Canadian-American television personality. He had been the host of the syndicated game show Jeopardy! since it was revived in 1984, and had also hosted a number of other game shows, including The Wizard of Odds, Double Dare, High Rollers, Battlestars, Classic Concentration and To Tell the Truth.
