AUGUST is a brand under Hazuki Studio responsible for developing and selling visual novels (Galgames). It is often referred to as August Studio. AUGUST's predecessor was the doujin circle "Royal Palace Magical Theater," which developed *One Way Love ~Minto-chan Monogatari~*. In 2001, it accepted a partner brand initiative led by Geiga Studio and established Hazuki Limited Liability Company (which became a corporation in 2006), simultaneously beginning development of its debut title, *Binary Pot*. Due to insufficient time and funding, the staff worked in a cramped room, with some even having to write their graduation theses while still in university, highlighting the challenging environment. This title was released in 2002. Their second title, *Princess Holiday*, established the lighthearted and cheerful "moe" (cute/moe) atmosphere of August Studio's works.
