Si: Every intro Korvo recounts the destruction of his home planet which has traumatized him, and so he tries to conserve some of the traditions (wearing robes or keeping candles). He can't wait to finish the mission and has a tunnel vision of fixing the ship as he is the least adaptive of the family and is slow to change his mind and ways. He cried when Terry called him a "fake alien" and when his attempts at keeping the heritage alive got rebuffed. He enjoys reading practical manuals rather then magazines like Terry and likes when things are organized like his guns or his living planet (he misses how totalitarian Schlorp was). Also, he seems to be the one to tend to the more day-to-day tasks like paying bills, caring for Pupa's well being, and making rules around the house (Terry and Jesse seem to be at a loss without him to ground them). His past and experiences impact him deeply, he makes up with Terry once they become nostalgic and recall some of their adventures. Te: Korvo prefers to rely on logic rather than emotion ("when things don't go your way, you can't just give in to emotion(...)"). He wants to implant his plans and doesn't care to consult the other family members for their opinion (like Mexican night). While he can come off as bossy or rude ("shut up! I'm team leader."), he is the one to usually build machines, create plans and solve problems (like handing out a dog to the British Schlorpians). Korvo is very results-driven and a hard worker which is why he is easily annoyed with Terry's lazy attitude. With the combination of his Si, Korvo prefers systems of hierarchy like in Schlorp, and since their planet no longer exists, he stepped up to unite the family and see that things get done. Since he is so efficient, he doesn't hesitate to confront people or Terry to resolve issues quickly or voice his opinions. Fi: Korvo prefers to stay true to himself and not conform to human traditions he doesn't understand, even if it means being left out, although it does hurt his feelings when people don't like him and he does seem to want to connect to others. It seems that Korvo had friends who understood him on Schlorp and enjoyed the same things he did, and now that he doesn't have friends outside of his family, he takes his relationships seriously and is deeply hurt when Funbucket abandons him and Terry or when Terry doesn't invite him to a dinner party. Korvo cares about his family but prefers to show affection in actions (like keeping everyone safe or hugging) rather then words, but when he does express his feelings verbally, it's usually at the end of the episode as it takes him a long time to realize how he hurt others (like banning dinner parties due to jealousy). Ne: Although it's not his most used function, it does show when he feels safe enough to try new things or enjoy some more contained adventures like partying with Terry, snorting coke and celebrating a bachelor party, jet skiing, becoming a gangster in the city.
