Okay here we go, Scott Lang is a healthy ENTP in my opinion. How he is portrayed in the MCU may be small but he is a cool character. Plus, he's one of my favourite MCU characters so here we go. Extraverted Intuition (Ne): This dominant functions is a way to find the possibilities and patterns of ordinary life. This can turn an ENTP into an optimistic skeptic or an ENFP into an optimistic idealist. Scott's ideas are very not only useful but help people in times of need. His head is mostly in the clouds and never takes thing seriously due to that daydreaming (Hope and Scott are somewhat opposites with their Ne functions). There are a lot of amazing of his Ne working out for him; turning into Giant Man to help Team Cap, going subatomic to take down the Yellowjacket, using the ants in various ways, sneaking in Hank's house to find anything valuable, the idea of the Time Heist (with the help of another ENTP, Tony, an INTP, Bruce Banner and an ESTP, Rocket) and his idea of putting the suit somewhere else. But then the next question comes in, does Scott use Fi or Ti? Also, the Ne and Si also work together, like how Tony and Peter reference the past a lot, Scott likes to joke around with references. Introverted Thinking (Ti): Scott is a skeptic at heart. In his first film, he has a hard time figuring out the situation he is in. Ne-Ti help each other to make ideas that make sense in times of need. If it was Fi, his Ne-Fi would make him a dreamer with an idealistic moral of compassion, which he does, but it may be his Sexual Seven enneagram and his Fe to living in a dream world and wanting to be close with the people around him. But the Ti is there because sometimes he isn't willing to take a risk; one scene is in Avengers: Endgame; arguing with Tony and Steve about going back to the 1970s (this may be also because their socionics don't align very well, Scott is ILE, Steve is ESI and Tony's ILE as well but he is anxious and egotistical.) Scott is Chaotic Good, helping people that help him or are willing to help. The Ti is there to think logically about a situation with ideas sprouting like a dandelion field. It also helps with his beliefs and values which only apply to his friends and family, but they don't apply to his identity. When working with his Ti, if an idea goes well, he can go full force and take the idea seriously and logically, especially with his... Extraverted Feeling (Fe): This is the function that develops over time in the Infinity Saga. Scott's Fe in the first film is very underdeveloped, turning him into an impulsive, volatile, and inconsistent person. For an ENTP, this is very hard because we have a hard time with people and their ideas of "morality", trust me, it isn't easy. When meeting Hope and Hank, he learns to use empathy and can relate to Hank in his quest to prove to his intimates that he has changed for the better. He later becomes the mentor or the little buddy for other heroes by using his Fe to become the social advisor to complicated things. He is open to new ideas, whether stupid or clueless, he is open to them. It makes him charming and lovable. Out of all the ENTPs in the MCU, he is the whimsical father figure with a heart of gold. His Fe also helps him with making last-resolution moments for the people around him. If he sees people in danger, he will forward with the impossible, making the subatomic idea one of his risky ideas. He didn't do it because it was the right thing to do, he did it because it's one of his morals as a person that doesn't make it part of his identity, to protect Cassie out of bravery and empathy. Introverted Sensation (Si): Like all ENTPs, Si is the hardest one to overcome. His Ne can get the best of him, making his ideas being visionary instead of being precise. One idea was shrinking in Tony's armour and messing with it, the problem was that Scott's idea was WAY too easy. Tony had back-up systems to help him and Scott was a tiny man easy to crush. One character that helps Scott is Hope, their relationship moves forward when they learn from each other. Hope makes ideas that make sense due to Scott's antics; inventing cars that would be able to shrink with Hank's help and learning to be a bit open-minded. Scott on the other hand, learns to attentive and reasonable. This not only develops his Ti but also his Fe, making him more open-minded and logical. If you have any questions, please ask. Also, if I am wrong, please correct me? I don't want to ruin a function that doesn't make sense for another mbti type.

He is eventually hired by the original Ant-Man, Dr. Hank Pym, to steal Hank's technology from the very company Hank founded, to prevent the firm's new owners from abusing it.
