We really don't know anything about him personally so people are simply typing him off ✨ vibes ✨ (oh well that's PDB I guess) or the opinions of his enemies which would obviously be negative regardless of his type. Also him being a general/emperor doesn't auto make him ENTJ. With that said let's see what we can glean about his functions based off his actual actions & see what that tells us about his cognition. *Note this is based off things I've read about his reign, if you have contrary examples/sources let me know*. He was stated to be incredibly strategic (ex. married his daughters off to nobles then sent his new step sons off to battle to die, leaving his daughters as sole rulers of their territories). Strategic thinking is often auto deemed as making someone a T type which is not always the case but there are certain correlations hence those stereotypes exist at all, so we'll take note of it & see what else we find. We'll have this point lean more in favor of Te than Ti because it also accounts for his being organized in his personal life (which is significantly less likely for xxTPs) & his natural inclination towards leadership (again more common for high Te users). Assuming he was a xxTJ, I can see why some would vote xSTJ because he was known to be big on loyalty & honor (ex. beheaded enemies who betrayed their leaders, and stayed with his first wife Borte his entire life even refusing to abandon her & her child she gave birth to shortly after being rescued from kidnapping i.e. it likely wasn't his heir). However, I don't think those things are Si exclusive nor do they outweigh the massive amount of innovation he brought via his rule. He was VERY progressive for the time: He ran a meritocracy in a time of ubiquitous hereditary rule (his right hand general Subutai wasn't even a Mongol & was from a blacksmithing clan i.e. not a blue blood). He allowed women to not only divorce their husbands but also be apart of his military. He allowed freedom of religion in his empire during a time of peak religious oppression. He implemented paper currency centuries before Europe. He created the 1st international postal system who's efficiency wouldn't be matched for 5 centuries etc. Add the above points with his life being centered around expansion (of his empire & his lineage lol) instead of the sustaining of anything at all, or even the desire to be etched into history (secret burial place, no structures like pyramids or colosseums built & not writing down his deeds for future generations to study) & I am inclined to believe the man had far more Se than Si (or even Ni). Not to mention the armies he lead were incredibly adaptable - conquering some of the hottest & coldest areas on earth, all while dominating warfare in a variety of geographic conditions in large part due to a willingness to quickly adapt the tactics & weapons of 1 enemy against another. Given all of this he was likely not an Si user at all. So that leaves thinkers with decent Se. The votes are currently trying to decide between ESTP & ENTJ (admittedly due to stereotypes) and while they can look similar, they aren't. I won't auto deem him TeNi > SeTi for simply being a visionary general, but his personal organization & the fact that I have yet to see any examples of Fe (which reminder ESTPs have & is often blatant) even when parsing out the vitriol from his enemies, makes me question the ESTP typing. Unless you guys have some Fe examples I'm unaware of, I'll have to go with ENTJ because all of his qualities I'm currently aware of can be explained by some combination of high Te & Se/Ni + a noticeable amount of Fi. Edit: I turned my autocorrect off (because I hate it) but I had a spelling mistake lol
