At first I thought he was ENFP. Actually I did want to see him as ENFP, but after analyzing it further this guy is lead by Fi with inferior Te. His whole life is Fi. Why did he become a forensic scientist in the first place? To chase possibilities? Nope. The entire motivation is Fi-Si, to search for clues about his parents incidents. His weakest function is Te, not Si. Zoom killed dad? Oh just go back to the past and create a brave new world! Consequences be damned! He is not possibilities junkie. He does not chase possibilities for its sake (Ne dom), but to further his Fi agenda, with Si always backing it up. His enneatype is 6w7. He's worrier, and pretty careful person, but in the end his "P" makes him impulsive and he's not so much a planner. He is smart but not in a "thinker"-ish way of smart. His emotion always get the best of him, not his pursuit of possibilities. He's not even always enthusiastic. Most of the time he's brooding. This is the side of Barry that Thawne always try to exploit, his Fi, not his Ne. That would be Barry's daughter, Nora West-Allen, who's an ENFP.
