I've come to the realization that Jeon is sp8 > sx8. He’s territorial, possessive (all that e8 good stuff am I right), and despite being so easy to trigger emotionally he was also somewhat detached. And just to clarify. I say detached in the sense that we didn’t really see him express any emotion that didn’t ultimately stem from aggression or anger. Sx8s are characterized by craving intense “soul bond” connections, especially with individuals they find particularly compelling. Jeon isn’t interested in bonding emotionally; his relationships were purely transactional. We saw countless times throughout the show how quick he was to drop people the very moment they stopped serving a purpose to him. Presumably, he's being typed as a sx8 because of how impulsive he is i.e. someone bringing up anything that had to do with his eyes often resulted in him getting physical. If that's the primary reason as to why you're thinking he's sx8, I'd suggest you evaluate his relationship with control. Sx8's relationship with control is relational and intimate, I'd say jeon's relationship with control is rather materialistic / territorial. A good example of this is him figuring out that he was in fact the biological father of ye sol. Upon figuring out she was his daughter; he went out of his way to reclaim his perennity rights. Not because he genuinely cared for her, though. He obviously didn't and had no actual relationship with her whatsoever, matter of fact I don't even think he was interested in building an *actual* father-daughter relationship. Considering the fact he made little to no effort to mentally prepare himself to be a father. He saw her as something that was HIS. and therefore it was his job to possess ownership over her. Sp8s dominate, while Sx8s "demand loyalty" and merge with specific "chosen" people (yes, the quotation marks are there because the wording from the text I’m referencing sounds unserious asf😭). Jeon didn’t care about people unless they had something he could use; whether it was s3x, blackmail, or anything that gave him leverage. That alone points to sp > sx. Because unlike sp8s, sx8s are generally more likely to display, indirectly quoting the text, “attention seeking behaviors to cover up their insecurity about being loved and desired.”
