Stathis is not a person who looks for deeper meanings. If he were he would be deep. As he is not, he is the opposite of deep, he is shallow. Basic: This refers to the NEO facet, Artistic interests. This includes items like "believe in the importance of art" vs negative "Does not enjoy poetry". Stathis shows no interest or inclination for art. His interests are not cultured, they are "basic".
