Biyografi
Thomas Wolsey was the Lord Chancellor of England from 1515 to 1529. He essentially ran England's government during this time, and secured a number of foreign policy victories, including the 1518 Treaty of London. Wolsey also patronised education heavily. For example, he sought to make his home town, Ipswich, a capital of learning with profits from dissolved religious houses. His downfall came when he failed to secure a Papal annulment for the King's marriage to Catherine of Aragon.
